Proclinical is advertising an exciting opportunity to join a global healthcare company as an Analytical Scientist. This company specialises in multiple therapy areas, and currently looking to recruit the Analytical Scientist to their team in Massachusetts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Running HPLC, spectroscopy, UV rays, and chromatography.
- Troubleshooting experience/abilities.
- Investigating and aiding in the development of new methods and technologies for project advancement.
- Experience with modern protein analytical techniques is beneficial (chromatography, light scattering methodologies, fluorescence spectroscopy, FTIR, LC-MS, etc.).
Skills and Requirements:
- PhD in a scientific discipline with at least 2 years industry experience (may include post-doctoral experience), or an MS with a minimum of 4 years industry experience, or a BS with a minimum of 6 years industry experience.
- Knowledge and skills in chemistry and biochemistry (e.g. medicinal chemistry, bioanalytical chemistry, protein chemistry, protein expression).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Well organised and detail oriented, able to effectively prioritise, interact cooperatively and effectively with others in a team environment, and consistently demonstrate reliability and responsibility.
- Good time and project management skills, ability to oversee several projects simultaneously.
