Account Manager - Permanent - Remote

Proclinical is seeking an Account Manager to lead sales and account management activities within the genomics and synthetic biology portfolio.
Primary Responsibilities:
In this role, you will drive growth by building strong customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs. This position requires a proactive approach to territory development and collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets. Travel within the assigned region is a key component of this role.
Skills & Requirements:
- Advanced degree in a Life Sciences field.
- Proven success in account management, exceeding sales targets, and driving revenue growth.
- Experience in Pharma, Biotech, Government Agencies, or Academia.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory (up to 50% of the time).
- Valid driver's license.
The Account Manager's responsibilities will be:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and business goals within the assigned territory.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, consistently exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Cultivate new customer relationships and expand market penetration within existing accounts.
- Provide accurate forecasts, reports, and market intelligence to internal stakeholders.
- Leverage expertise in drug discovery, drug development, gene-to-antibody workflows, and proteomics to deliver consultative selling solutions.
- Maintain and organize customer and account information using CRM tools, ensuring streamlined sales processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Product Development, Customer Service, and Technical Support, to align strategies and address customer needs.
- Represent the company at seminars, conferences, and local vendor shows to promote products and services.
Compensation:
- $110,000 to $120,000 per annum.
