Looking to shape the future of healthcare by leading bold and dynamic account management in a company where science meets purpose?

Proclinical is seeking a Key Account Manager to support the commercial objectives of a rare disease portfolio. In this role, you will develop and implement strategic account plans to optimize patient care within your designated territory. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and adherence to industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals to promote awareness of the product portfolio.
  • Develop and execute territory and account-specific plans, including customer targeting and cycle planning.
  • Analyze the territory to identify and support the development of diagnostic and referral centers.
  • Drive awareness of patient identification, diagnostic testing, and referral pathways.
  • Organize and manage local meetings in collaboration with Medical Affairs to enhance diagnosis and referral processes.
  • Represent the company at local and national meetings and congresses.
  • Lead and coordinate key projects and initiatives on behalf of the sales team.
  • Serve as a communication link between key customers and internal teams.
  • Provide coaching and share best practices with junior team members.
  • Ensure timely reporting and maintenance of the CRM database.
  • Conduct all activities in compliance with ethical standards and local regulations.
  • Travel domestically and occasionally internationally as required.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Experience in biopharmaceutical sales and key account management, preferably in the orphan or ultra-orphan market.
  • Proven ability to build strong professional relationships with healthcare providers.
  • Effective communication and influencing skills across organizational levels.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to navigate healthcare structures.
  • Proficiency in generating awareness and ensuring access to treatment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly within the territory.
