Proclinical is seeking a Vigilance Specialist who will be responsible for coordinating complaint handling activities for a range of medical devices, with a focus on pacemaker products. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to think critically and a working history in a clinical or regulatory environment.

Responsibilities:

Coordinating complaint handling activities for a wide range of medical devices.
Documenting incoming complaint events.
Coordinating cross-functional activities in the investigation of customer complaints and determination of root cause.
Ensuring complete and accurate maintenance and reporting of Medical Device Reports (MDRs) as required by regulatory agencies.
Responding to queries received from regulatory agencies in relation to complaint events or post-market regulatory reports.
Supporting risk management, risk analysis, and health hazard analysis associated with complaint/post-market information.
Contributing to continuous improvement activities to support the roll-out of cell operating systems and principles within the department.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Legal, Clinical, or related discipline.
Previous history in a medical devices or related environment is preferred.
Ability to work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams.
Strong attention to detail and ability to think critically.
Knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
Commitment to patient safety and customer service with high standards, operational excellence, accountability and ethical behaviour.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
