Proclinical is looking for a Supply Chain Senior Manager on behalf of a biotechnology company to support the supply chain team in managing commercial supply chain production planning and operations for international markets. This role focuses on ensuring the continuity of supply for commercial products, particularly in a fast-paced, growing company environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead continuity of supply by creating requirement plans based on strategic forecasts and global shelf life and specification changes.
  • Manage changes in supply configuration, design, timeline, manufacturing availability, and regulatory requirements through the change control process.
  • Oversee customer onboarding, order management, returns, and backorder management.
  • Communicate order and inventory status to stakeholders.
  • Manage external logistics service providers.
  • Handle effective inventory management across various stock-holding locations in Europe.
  • Monitor supplier performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational and economic performance improvement.
  • Support regulatory and global supply chain with new specifications and change controls during label changes and bar code creations.
  • Conduct EU FMD serialization activities using Optel Verify.
  • Support operational launch readiness activities for new international markets and products.
  • Identify, define, prioritize, and communicate risks to successful operations; develop and monitor risk mitigation and contingency plans.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Proficiency in supply chain management within a regulated cGMP environment.
  • Experience overseeing commercial contract packaging and labeling organizations and (bio)pharmaceutical CMOs.
  • In-depth knowledge of current Good Manufacturing and Distribution Practices (cGMPs and cGDPs).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Project (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience in inventory management.
  • Experience in developing and commercializing drugs for oncology and/or orphan diseases is preferred.
  • Strong vendor/supplier management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Proven success in cross-functional collaboration and excellent communication skills.
  • Full professional proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
