A leading pharmaceutical company that accelerates the launch and listing of drugs across China is seeking a Statistics Manager to join their office in Shanghai. The organisation, which is a subsidiary of an international pharmaceutical corporation, specialises in increasing China's core competitive power in the innovation of new drugs. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a prestigious company that develops first-class drugs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with other statistical colleagues and study personnel to provide input to statistical analysis plans.
- Assisting in and/or being accountable for selecting statistical methods for data analysis, authoring the corresponding sections of the data analysis plan, and conducting the actual analysis once a reporting database is created.
- Collaborating with data management in the planning and implementation of data quality assurance plans.
- Maintaining proficiency with respect to SAS programming and statistical methodology and in applying new and varied methods.
- Effectively justifying methods selected and implement previously outlined analysis plans.
- Conducting peer-review of work products from statistical colleagues.
- Effectively utilising current technologies and available tools for conducting the clinical trial analysis.
- Assisting in the communication of study results via regulatory submissions and manuscripts, as well as for communicating one-on-one with key customers.
- Assisting or responding to regulatory queries, working in collaboration with other statistical colleagues.
Skills and Requirements:
- M.S, PhD, or equivalent experience of Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Epidemiology, or similar field of study.
- At least 5 years of clinical trial working experience.
- Working knowledge of statistics and statistical software
- Data analysis, technology, and system expertise.
- Demonstrable project management skills.
- Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
- Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
- Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
