Software Test Engineer

Proclinical is seeking an experienced Senior Software Test Engineer to conduct testing of product software in a dynamic and complex engineering environment. This role is based full time in our Boston, MA office. A hybrid assignment of remote and onsite work may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Must be eligible to work in the US.

Job Responsibilities:

• With the Software Development Team define a test strategy for confirming product quality
• Develop a test plan to document the process and deliverables for software testing
• Conduct manual testing of product and equipment software as needed
• Maintain a log of software bugs and troubleshoot to resolve performance issues

Skills and Requirements:

• Experience writing a test plan for medical or other regulated software products is required
• Effective verbal and written communication skills are required
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills are required
• Comfortable working in both a rigorous early-stage environment with fluid requirements, as well as a regulated later-stage process-driven setting is preferred
• Experience with Linux is preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related field is preferred
• Vaccination against COVID-19 is required
