Setup Mechanic - Permanent - Onsite

Proclinical Staffing is seeking a Setup Mechanic to join a cutting-edge pharmaceutical company. This is a permanent role located in Baltimore, MD.

Primary Responsibilities

The Setup Mechanic maintains and supports the operation of industrial equipment for pharmaceutical production at a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO). Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, parts management, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Skills & Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Aseptic experience is essential.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in math and metric system.
• Familiarity with electronic Quality Management Systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs.
• Ability to work in a deadline-focused environment.
• Results-oriented and efficient.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Fluent in English with legible handwriting.
• Ability to work with hazardous chemicals.
• Ability to travel and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Use of PPE when necessary.

The Setup Mechanic will:

• Follow cGMP regulations, SOPs, and batch records.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance with vendors.
• Identify and address compliance issues.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and other departments.
• Complete documentation according to GMP.
• Participate in meetings and safety procedures.
• Complete assigned trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Shifts Available:

• 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 2:00 pm - 12:00 am.
• 3rd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 11:00 pm - 8:00 am.

Benefits:

• Overtime available.
• 15% increase in pay for 3rd shift.

Salary / Pay:

$45 per hour
