Senior Software Developer C/C++

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and innovative individual. This role will focus on the progression and approval of unmanned aircraft systems, contributing significantly to Swiss security. The successful candidate will be part of a project team working on vast projects. Responsibilities:

• Develop, specify, and verify embedded real-time applications (C, C++) for avionic systems according to DO-178C or research projects.
• Collaborate in an interdisciplinary team, taking on tasks and responsibilities.
• Co-design the software architecture.
• Improve the airspace-simulation and test environment.
• Further develop and improve the toolchain (Jenkins, Gitlab, Python, Container, etc.).
• Plan your working day independently, efficiently, and flexibly together with the team.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Degree in Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering or comparable education.
• Programming experience in C, C++.
• Experience with agile software development methods.
• Reliable, proactive, and solution-oriented personality with a high level of perseverance and analytical ability.
• Team player with a curious mindset.
• Very good knowledge of English; knowledge of German is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Linux, Python, and Rust is desirable.
