Senior Service Engineer - DACH (m/w/d)

Position: Senior Service Engineer (m/w/d)
Location: Germany

This role entails overseeing a segment of Europe's operations, including DACH and Scandinavia.

Responsibilities:
- Manage customer complaints and malfunction claims, primarily from distributors, occasionally from end users such as hospitals and clinics.
- Deliver efficient technical support to customers, as well as collaborate with sales and marketing colleagues.
- Provide on-site support to distributors for critical projects and cases, including the diagnosis and repair of complex system and equipment failures.
- Conduct on-site visits to end users to gather feedback and market intelligence.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on main units returned by customers.
- Conduct service training sessions for customers, primarily distributors but occasionally end users.
- Engage in negotiations with customers for service contracts, orders, logistics, and administrative tasks.
- Generate routine reports and business trip summaries for supervisors, and participate in product technical update meetings.
- Assist in managing stock administration for parts and equipment.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in electronic biomedical or a relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in the medical services industry.
- Familiarity with the procurement processes of local medical organizations.
- Proficiency in online maintenance and repair processes.
- Understanding of industry-standard charging practices.
- Prior technical support experience is advantageous.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and German.
- Proficient in computer usage and office software.
- Knowledgeable about medical electronics products and clinical applications, with experience in maintaining such products.
- Possession of a valid local driver's license, flexibility for travel, and adaptability to short-term assignments.
