Proclinical are recruiting a Senior Research Associate, Bioanalytical for a biotech organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Cambridge. This client is focused on regulating the protein universe and solving illnesses.
Responsibilities:
- Evolve innovative assays to acknowledge mechanistic ADME-linked queries for RNA remedies.
- Partake in vivo samples processing for multiple assays, which involves homogenisation in cooperation with any other functions rendering to SOPs.
- Accountable for performing routine ADME assays for discovery and evolvement phase compounds.
- Contribute to experimental plans, conducting, experiments and data assessment/comprehension, troubleshooting, etc.
- Might conduct nucleic acid extraction and DNA/RNA/protein quantification of experimental samples.
- You will converse with associates both internally and externally for the success of initiation, perform and achievement of all DMPK and pharmacology studies.
- Obtain, resolve and accumulate/forward the incoming biological and test article samples.
- Uphold documents both physically and electronically for sample storage, site and outlook.
- The ideal candidate will be accountable for writing and looking for review/sanction of procedures linked to sample management abilities.
- Preserve and follow the needed papers, reports and arrangements for all in vivo studies.
Skills & Requirements:
- Educated to a degree level in a STEM or similar subject with at least 2 - 5 years of experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical organisation.
- Familiarity with conducting and comprehending high quality quantitative in vitro ADME assays.
- Know-how of bioanalysis of nucleic acids such as ASO, siRNA, etc., using HPLC, mass spectrometry, ELISA, and PCR.
- Acquaintance with biological sample handling which involves biological tissues.
- Curious about the drug discovery process.
- An organised individual with the ability to work on various projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Exhibit the skill to operate in a strategic and organised manner, comprehending the resources and papers workflow.
- Computer literacy in Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, etc. to produce documents and any other papers internally.
- Willing to gain new abilities in LIMS and data management systems, particularly implementing it to sample inventory, tracking and chain of custody.
- Communication skills both verbally and written.
