Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and innovative Software Developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining tools to support efficient test development practices. This role is crucial in contributing to safer, more efficient, and more sustainable production, mobility, and communication. This position can be based in Geneva, Bern, Luasanne, Luzern, Thun, Solothun and Zurich.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain tools to support efficient test development practices.
Design and implement tool pipelines to automate our testing process.
Collaborate closely with the testing team to troubleshoot issues and improve processes and tools.
Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of our test procedures.
Monitor performance metrics and suggest and implement improvements as needed.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Proficiency in software development in Python.
Strong experience with testing and associated tools like pytest, unit test etc.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline design and implementation is a bonus.
Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Interest in working on challenges that arise from tests that involve a lot of signal processing, large data sets and long computation times.
Ability to identify problems, provide solutions and work in a collaborative team environment.
Hands-on experience of measurement devices and embedded systems is an asset.
