Proclinical is partnering with a CRO to hire a Sr. Principal Stat. Programmer Clin. Data Stds. This remote role, based in London, UK, involves developing and maintaining clinical data standards, promoting their adoption, and supporting end-users. The position focuses on the oncology sector.
Responsibilities:
- Develop Clin. Data Stds., including SDTM, ADaM, and TFL standards.
- Implement standard solutions and data flow automation initiatives.
- Drive the adoption of clinical data standards from external organizations like CDISC and regulatory authorities.
- Develop and maintain programming solutions, such as standard Stat. macros and APIs.
- Provide day-to-day support to end-users of the Statistical Computing Environment.
- Ensure end-user training and assist with IT-related tasks, such as system upgrades.
- Support the technical implementation and adoption of clinical data standards.
- Guide and mentor junior team members.
- Identify and address the needs of different stakeholders, providing input for prioritization.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or life sciences.
- Strong knowledge of CDISC standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Stat. and R programming.
- Experience in analyzing programming issues and providing effective solutions.
- Ability to develop and leverage Stat. macros for efficient programming.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with R Package management, validation, and development.
- Knowledge of proceedings in R Consortium/R Pharmaverse.
- Some Clinical Stat. knowledge.
- Ability to share knowledge and train other programmers.
