Proclinical is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) to join a dynamic team on a contract basis. This role involves supporting medical affairs initiatives with a focus on scientific exchange, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration. The position is for maternity leave cover, with the potential for extension.

Responsibilities:

Act as a key field-based medical expert, engaging with healthcare professionals to provide scientific and clinical insights.
Deliver field-led projects in alignment with medical affairs strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support therapy area objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders to facilitate scientific exchange.
Provide medical and scientific support for SMA-related initiatives.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Proven experience in a field medical role within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
Strong expertise in neurology, particularly in Spinal Muscular Atrophy or related therapy areas.
Ability to manage and execute field-based projects effectively.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a focus on scientific engagement.
Flexibility to work across therapy areas as needed.
