Senior Director Biostatistics

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and innovative individual for a Biostatistics position. The successful candidate will focus on creating and maintaining processes and work quality related to clinical trials, while making sure these are in line with regulatory requirements. This role is integral to driving biostatistics strategy in line with objectives and promoting efficiency through modernisation and digitalisation.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and improve biostatistical processes and standards related to clinical trials.
• Represent the team in cross-functional process development initiatives.
• Create and run process development strategies to improve efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (ICH, FDA, EMA, etc.) and GCP guidelines.
• Drive biostatistics strategy in accordance with company objectives.
• Monitor process efficiency and effectiveness, identify improvement opportunities and align with strategic priorities.
• Evaluate quality measure analysis, performance development and reporting, and provide recommendations to the leadership team.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• PhD or Masters in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, particularly in Biostatistics.
• Leadership skills with a track record of managing a team.
• Excellent understanding of the drug development process with relevant experience in statistics and statistical programming.
• Proven track record delivering end-to-end process improvement initiatives.
• Experience with project management and application of operational excellence concepts.
• Experience working with external parties and leading cross-functional teams.
• High proficiency in both written and spoken English and German is a plus.
