Senior Director, Biomarker

Proclinical are recruiting for a Senior Director, Biomarker to join a biotech organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in China.

Responsibilities:

• Handle study budgets and financial transactions with vendors guaranteeing efficient resource distribution and cost management.
• You will develop tactical plans to meet budgetary needs and successful integration of companion diagnostic assays into end-of-life trials.
• Responsible for engaging with external diagnostic providers and international regulatory agencies to form CPX archiving pathways and compliance methods.
• Guide both biomarker and pharmacokinetic planning, outlining, and execution, monitoring sample gathering for both early and late-phase clinical trials.
• Work alongside both internal and external teams to guarantee timely project delivery and alignment with goals.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Educated to an advanced degree level in a biology, translational medicine or similar life science field.
• Comprehension of diagnostic technologies, international regulatory frameworks and biomarker applications in drug development.
• Demonstrable experience in translational medicine.
• Familiarity with oncology, as well as competency in target/disease biology, preclinical, and clinical development.
• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Fluency in both Chinese and English.
