Proclinical are recruiting for a Senior Director, Biomarker to join a biotech organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in China.

Responsibilities:

Handle study budgets and financial transactions with vendors guaranteeing efficient resource distribution and cost management.
You will develop tactical plans to meet budgetary needs and successful integration of companion diagnostic assays into end-of-life trials.
Responsible for engaging with external diagnostic providers and international regulatory agencies to form CPX archiving pathways and compliance methods.
Guide both biomarker and pharmacokinetic planning, outlining, and execution, monitoring sample gathering for both early and late-phase clinical trials.
Work alongside both internal and external teams to guarantee timely project delivery and alignment with goals.
Other duties may be assigned.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Educated to an advanced degree level in a biology, translational medicine or similar life science field.
Comprehension of diagnostic technologies, international regulatory frameworks and biomarker applications in drug development.
Demonstrable experience in translational medicine.
Familiarity with oncology, as well as competency in target/disease biology, preclinical, and clinical development.
Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
Fluency in both Chinese and English.
