Sample Manager - Contract - Collegeville, PA
Proclinical is seeking a Sample Manager to support laboratory operations in Collegeville, PA.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will focus on managing sample inventory, ensuring accurate data entry into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), and maintaining compliance with regulatory and ethical standards. This role involves collaboration with various teams and contributes to the smooth operation of sample management processes.
Skills & Requirements:
- Experience with sampling processes is beneficial.
- Familiarity with clinical study sampling is advantageous.
- Proficiency in logging inventory and using barcode scanning tools.
- Experience with LIMS systems is a plus.
- Background in pharmaceuticals or regulatory environments is desirable.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
The Sample Manager's responsibilities will be:
- Manage sample inventory, including receipt, transfers, and disposal, in line with retention schedules.
- Enter sample information and treatment details into the LIMS system.
- Maintain and organize sample documentation.
- Coordinate with central laboratories, clinical study teams, clinical sites, data analysts, and contract research organizations.
- Support automation initiatives related to sample management.
- Ensure compliance with ethical, regulatory, and safety requirements, adhering to relevant SOPs and government regulations.
- Follow safe working practices and promote health and safety in the workplace.
