Proclinical is seeking a Quality Control Analyst to join a dynamic team in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry.
Primary Responsibilities:
In this role, you will perform analytical and microbiological testing to support raw materials, in-process samples, product release, and stability studies. You will play a key role in maintaining laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Requirements:
- Degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or a related scientific field (Associate degree or Biotech Certificate considered).
- Experience in GMP quality control within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Knowledge of microbiology testing and environmental monitoring/critical utility sampling.
- Familiarity with quality events such as investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and change controls.
The Quality Control Analyst II's responsibilities will be:
- Conduct routine and non-routine analytical HPLC/UPLC or microbiological assays for various samples.
- Support weekend laboratory operations and maintain accurate training records.
- Adhere to testing schedules and ensure timely completion of assignments to meet project timelines and quality metrics.
- Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and inventory for smooth operations.
- Submit data promptly and review data as needed to ensure efficiency.
- Perform operational tasks such as critical utility sampling, environmental monitoring, and product testing.
- Contribute to updating controlled documents, including SOPs, work instructions, and test methods.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards, policies, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., GMP, GLP, ICH).
- Collaborate with QC and cross-functional teams to support quality control operations.
- Participate in inspection readiness activities and support audits and inspections.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency and effectiveness.
Compensation:
- $40 to $45 per hour
