Proclinical are recruiting a QC Chemist for a pharmaceutical organisation. This role is on a contract basis and is located in the UK. The client is focused on improving the lives of many.

Responsibilities:

Uphold, update and problem chemical strategies, conditions, and SOPs in conformity to pharmacopeial and regulatory needs.
Guarantee QC labs meet present GLP needs.
Support with the training for the analysis in areas of knowledge as well as in new strategies, SOPs and updates.
The ideal candidate will check/write notebooks and analytical reports.
You will trend such outcomes, record on COA's when needed and accomplished OOs in investigations in a timely manner.
Write and evaluate chemistry test outcomes daily and guarantee compliance with cGLP.
Responsible for updating the QC team leader on possible issues and highlight improvements where possible by use of the normal communication means.
Other duties may be assigned to this role.

Skills & Requirements:

Educated to a degree level in a science discipline such as chemistry or biochemistry which would be ideal, though a postgraduate degree would be considered.
At least 2-3 years of experience working within a manufacturing setting is desirable.
