An international biotechnology company is advertising a vacancy for a Project Management Office Manager to their office in Germany. The organisation discovers and develops targeted immune-oncology therapies that treat cancer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading and internationally renowned establishment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establish, drive and track processes for the development of deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards and to defined timelines.
- Support and facilitate interfaces between cross-functional program teams and departments (e.g. finance) by setting up processes in close collaboration with the involved parties.
- Support cross-functional program teams by providing templates and other materials.
- Revise and complement a program management handbook along the drug development chain.
- Act as secretary of the Development Governance Meeting (management meetings); organize these meetings in close collaboration with the chairman/Chief Operating Officer.
- Analyze key efficiency parameters of the drug development chain.
- Ensure documentation of process-related documents.
Skills and Requirements:
- Advanced degree with strong focus on project management and processes, preferably in life sciences or medical area.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in drug development project management in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Prior experience in developing and driving processes.
- Fluency in English (oral & written), German language skills desirable
- Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
- Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
- Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
