Proclinical are recruiting for a Process Engineer to join a pharmaceutical organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Shannon.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for guaranteeing that own work complies with GMP, data integrity, and GDP and is assumed rendering to applicable procedures.
  • Assist with process technical transfer actions, which involves Design of Experiments, Single-Use items specifications development for manufacturing use and ongoing Process FMEA actions.
  • You will arrange the vendor actions for commissioning & qualification, maintenance & calibration and/or process improvements.
  • Support with the execution and development of applicable engineering specifications and standards.
  • The ideal candidate will develop and handle solid relationships across teams to remove barriers to time lags while conducting own working groups to accomplish favourable results for the business.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Educated to a degree level in a pertinent engineering or scientific field.
  • Demonstrable experience in a biopharmaceutical setting within a process engineering role.
  • Know-how of cleanroom working.
  • Expertise on biopharmaceutical process operations which involves media and buffer prep, upstream and downstream such as single-use bioreactors, centrifuges, UF/DF, TFF, etc.
  • Fluency in the English language.
  • Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Acquaintance working within a start-up would be ideal.
  • Familiarity with fill finish operations is preferable.
  • A background in a variety of biopharmaceutical equipment and manufacturing procedures.
  • Experience with computerised equipment systems as well as the principles of data integrity which involves assessment and verification for new and current equipment.
  • Acquaintance with the necessities of commissioning and qualification of process equipment and utilities items.
  • Capable of resolving issues.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to self-motivate.
  • An organised individual with the ability to present self in a professional manner.
  • An innovative individual.
