Process Development Project Lead

Proclinical are recruiting for a Process Development Project Lead to join a pharmaceutical organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Leipzig.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for both process and product transfers to Dessau, their integration into routine production, and arrangement of process validation actions in the GMP setting.
• Work alongside both local and global divisions, particularly quality control functions, production, engineering, R&D, in the framework of project work and day-to-day routines.
• You will arrange and track work packages with both internal and external partners.
• Aid and contribute to both internal audits such as self-inspections, as well as external audits, such as authorities, notified bodies, etc.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a scientific field, ideally in biology, chemistry, pharmacy, or biotech with demonstrable experience in product development actions and project management within a regulated setting.
• Familiarity within industry in a GMP-compliant setting.
• Acquaintance within process development, design, scale-up, process optimisation and validation would be preferable.
• A result focused work approach within a global setting.
• Fluency in both German and English.
• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Computer literacy.
• Works well both independently as well as in a team.
• Capable of managing own time efficiently.
