Proclinical is seeking a Remote Principal Clinical Programmer. This position will manage essential duties and responsibilities as independently as possible. This job contributes to and supports the company's research and development efforts to create high value therapeutics to address unmet medical needs for late-stage cancer patients.

Job Responsibility:

Builds and maintains clinical databases using Medidata RAVE EDC or Classic RAVE in accordance with standard database structures and /or study specific specifications, including but not limited to developing CRFs, Edit Checks, Derivations, Custom Functions, and integrations with other Medidata modules such as Coder, RTSM and Safety Gateway
Develops and maintain SAS programs to support Clinical Data Management activities a plus
Develops and maintains reports to support data cleaning activities using tools such as Business Objects, QlikView and TIBCO Spotfire
Generates and maintains documentation for standard procedures, specifications and validation documents
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires effective multi-tasking and the ability to easily adapt to changing priorities
Serves as SME for Clinical Programming. Participates in discussions and provides guidance to other team members to implement better solutions
Possesses and maintains a broad overall knowledge in the field of Clinical Programming and Data Management
Open to learn new tools as required to support either existing systems or new technologies
Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) related to Data Management programming activities

Skills and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of related education and experience
8+ years of experience building clinical databases using Medidata RAVE EDC
Experience with programming languages, such as C#, SAS, PL/SQL preferred
Experience with reporting tools like Business Objects, QlikView or TIBCO SpotFire is a plus
Experience with CDISC data standards is a plus
Ability to deal effectively with internal customers and external vendors at all levels
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
