PVG Project Manager - Contract - Tarrytown, NY

Proclinical is seeking a Pharmacovigilance Project Manager to support safety-related activities for clinical programs, including late-stage compounds, in alignment with global regulations and best practices.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be involved in collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure the successful delivery of pharmacovigilance (PV) planning and compliance initiatives.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences (e.g., Biology, Pharmacy, Nursing) is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety, with demonstrated success in managing and completing Phase I-IV clinical programs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise independent judgment within defined practices and policies.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, CROs, and alliance partners.
  • Familiarity with global regulations and compliance standards in pharmacovigilance.


The PVG Project Manager's responsibilities will be:

  • Act as the primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders regarding Global Patient Safety (GPS) deliverables in clinical programs, including Phase I-IV studies.
  • Manage clinical program GPS deliverables while ensuring compliance with SOPs, alliance partner agreements, and global regulations.
  • Support PV planning deliverables, such as preparing line listings and SAE reconciliation listings for periodic reports or clinical studies.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams, CROs, and alliance partners to oversee pharmacovigilance deliverables.
  • Analyze diverse problems, evaluate data, and determine appropriate courses of action to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and organizational goals.
  • Maintain effective communication with senior management and cross-functional teams on matters related to specific compounds or issues.
