Proclinical is seeking a Scientific Liaison Manager who will use their scientific expertise to play a crucial role in strengthening business approach. This in-field role involves building relationships with key stakeholders, effectively communicating scientific information, supporting educational and clinical activities, and contributing to strategic initiatives based on the latest advancements in the field.

This is a permanent role that is available in different areas around Europe including France, Belgium, United Kingdom, Germany, Spain and Italy.

Responsibilities:

  • Map and segment Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), regularly engaging with them to disseminate scientific communications.
  • Proactively gather insights from stakeholders within focus disease areas.
  • Participate in congresses and hosted educational events, providing support to scientific speakers and delivering scientific presentations.
  • Collaborate in clinical studies and trials, supporting medical affairs and acting as a point of contact for the management of research proposals.
  • Provide dedicated support to in-country scientific leads, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Ensure compliance and alignment of scientific studies and in-country validation studies with the Medical-Scientific-Clinical-Regulatory board (MSCR).

Skills & Requirements:

  • Broad experience and knowledge of molecular diagnostics for infectious disease testing.
  • Understanding of the molecular diagnostic industry, its major players, and technologies.
  • Familiarity with clinical/scientific study processes and experience in writing study protocols and manuscripts.
  • PhD in Molecular Biological Sciences or a related field.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities, and translate scientific knowledge into business strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; effective interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data, and work both independently and as a team.
  • Strategic thinking, negotiation, influence, and engagement skills.
