Microbiology Technologist

Proclinical are recruiting a Microbiology Technologist for a pharmaceutical organisation. This role is on a contract basis. The client is focused on various therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities:

• Always act in compliance with GMP and to document any quality problems.
• Keep updated with all training needs, such as for both 'classroom' courses and computer-based training through the -my learning' platform internally.
• Operate in an agile manner as well as a motivated member of a team.
• Adhere to all SOPs and/or SW appropriate and in which the individual has been trained.
• Contribute to continuous improvement actions to highlight developments to equipment and procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned to this role.

Skills & Requirements:

• Educated to a GCSE/A level in a science discipline.
• Exhibited a similar position in 1 previous employer.
• Capable of working on various tasks simultaneously.
• Employ high standards of GLP.
• Knowledge in regulatory needs affiliated with their specialism field.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision on original and any other sites.
• Train junior personnel.
• Able to produce documentation, methods, processes, protocols and documents to agreed targets.
