A rapidly expanding global biopharmaceutical company is advertising a vacancy for a Medical Solutions Lead position in their Berkshire office. The organisation is dedicated to being leaders in innovative medicines and vaccines. Job Responsibilities
- Implement the local medical solutions as they were defined in the local Patient Value Plan
- Localize global solutions for BII in line with local insights and budget
- Ensure all promotional and medical solutions have obtained local compliance approval
- Partner with the necessary external stakeholders on key projects that will drive patient value
- Execute a communication plan in line with the patient value strategy and local insights
- Contribute to guideline initiatives in terms of scientific content
- Collaborate on the annual local Patient Value Plan (PVP)
- Collaborate with the BII marketing solutions leads to ensure that the local PVP initiatives are optimally balanced to drive maximum patient value from a Patient Environment's point of view
- Ensure appropriateness and consistency of contents dissemination through the different stakeholder facing roles across the BII eco-systems during training sessions and cycle meetings
- Building partner relationship with key external (agencies, key opinion leaders, patient association, health authorities,) and internal stakeholders
Skills and Requirements
- Medical Doctor-Board Certification (or equivalent credentials) or extensive clinical and industry experience Oncology, PhD or PharmD
- Industry and/or clinical experience in the oncology therapeutic area
- Broad drug development experience with robust knowledge of GCP regulatory/ market access and reimbursement requirements
- Ability to develop, design and implement expanded access program studies
- Robust understanding of promotional codes/regulations; previous involvement in review and approval processes
- Highly developed leadership, networking, communication, intercultural communication skills and influencing skills to work effectively in a complex matrix and global environment
- Demonstrated ability to build strong internal and external networks
