Medical Science Liaison South Germany

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Medical Science Liaison to focus on the area of Rare Liver Disease. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with key medical and scientific figures, engaging in scientific exchange and education about current and emerging therapies, and representing the company at medical events and conventions. The role also involves supporting internal cross-functional teams, participating in speaker and representative training, and leading or participating in special project teams as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Lead or participate in special project teams as necessary.
• Support cross-functional teams to ensure operations are patient-focused.
• Develop and maintain relationships with national and regional medical and scientific Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
• Engage in scientific exchange and education about current and emerging therapies.
• Develop and maintain scientific, clinical, and therapeutic expertise in the areas of Rare Liver Disease.
• Represent the company at medical educational events, programs, meetings, and conventions.
• Support clinical development in identifying and engaging with appropriate sites for trials.
• Provide scientific, clinical, and educational support for internal cross-functional customers.
• Support medical publications as needed.
• Participate in Speaker and Representative Training.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Knowledge in data analysis and statistics.
• Familiarity with legal, regulatory, and compliance regulations and guidelines.
• Team player with a solution-oriented approach and good communication skills.
• Experience in Rare Disease and/or Liver Disease is advantageous.
• Proven track record as an MSL or medical department professional.
• Ability to deliver scientific presentations and develop relationships with Thought Leaders.
• Educated to an advanced degree level in a scientific, healthcare or medical field (PharmD, PhD, MD).
• Experience in medical/paramedical practice or research.
• Previous experience in an MSL or related role.
• Ability to synthesize and communicate medical information clearly.
• Ability to travel ~ 60% (based on the size of respective geography).
• Fluency in German and English.
