Proclinical is seeking a Medical Research Project Manager to join a dynamic team in Cambridge, MA. This position focuses on rare disease research within the pharmaceutical industry and requires strong organizational and relationship management skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will oversee and manage externally sponsored research projects, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration with investigators, academic partners, and internal stakeholders.
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple research initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in managing the lifecycle of research projects, including budgeting, contracting, and execution.
- Familiarity with medical affairs processes and governance, such as MARB coordination, is a plus.
The Medical Research Project Manager's responsibilities will be:
- Act as the primary point of contact for Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS) and Research Collaborations (RC) across regions.
- Manage communications and maintain relationships with investigators, academic partners, and internal teams.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of externally sponsored research, including concept intake, review, budget approval, contracting, study execution, and closeout.
- Coordinate Medical Affairs Review Board (MARB) meetings, including agenda development, document preparation, and minutes management.
