Proclinical is partnering with a leading global pharmaceutical company to advertise a vacancy for a Medical Device Senior Technical Expert position. The organisation specialises in developing biological therapies and prides itself on its multiple published leading products in multiple therapy areas. Based in Surrey, this position is perfect for an applicant who is experienced in developing mobile apps and bringing creativity to their workplace.
Job Responsibilities:
- Acting as the company's UX expert and leading the development of user-friendly mobile or web applications classified as SaMD.
- Developing design concepts.
- Preparing wireframes and user flows and generating first UX mock-ups (click-prototypes).
- Leading the collaboration with external HFE partners.
- Documenting the UX development process.
- Working and collaborating with a cross-functional team including internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Supporting and broadening the Development team's internal capabilities.
To Apply:
- At Bachelor's degree in Design related to either Interaction, Multimedia, Communication, Computing, Industrial, Ergonomics, or a related discipline; alternatively, a degree in Human Factors Engineering, Engineering, or Psychology.
- At least 3 years of experience as a UX specialist in app development.
- Experience and passion in UX/interaction design for mobile or web applications.
- Experience and passion in user centred design process, human computer/machine interfaces, and data collection/analysis methodologies.
- Experience in designing usability tests to address the patients' needs defined in requirements, including the corresponding formal documentation.
- A thorough knowledge of relevant human factors regulations, standards, and guidelines for medical devices and pharmaceutical packaging.
- An understanding of the principles of Medical Device and healthcare regulations.
- Experience in the medical device industry with a focus on development of SaMDs or experience in other regulated industry.
- Experience in working with suppliers and contractors.
- Fluency in English and German, including technical writing.
- Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
- Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
- Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office, Concur, and Visio.
