Scientific Marketing Manager
Position Summary:
Our client, an innovative biotech, is looking for a Marketing Manager to spearhead the marketing team's daily operations, orchestrating the execution of marketing strategies. This is an opportunity to join a fantastic company working on novel models to propel antibody discovery.
The ideal candidate will have a scientific mind and a creative vision, working across creative content, social media, and events in order to educate and translate science!
This position will have 4 direct reports: a designer, a social media coordinator, an events manager, and a content marketer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide the marketing team to attain strategic objectives, equipping them with necessary resources and materials.
- Formulate innovative marketing and branding strategies for both new and existing mouse models and preclinical services.
- Execute marketing initiatives through diverse channels such as campaigns, events, digital platforms, and public relations endeavors.
- Drive the assessment of marketing ROI, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Oversee the enhancement and maintenance of digital platforms including the website, LinkedIn, newsletters, and email campaigns.
- Represent the company at trade shows to bolster sales and business development efforts.
- Collaborate closely with other internal teams, including sales, business development, technology, and research and development.
- Maintain and update pertinent business databases and systems.
- Undertake additional business-related tasks as required.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Hold a Ph.D. in the biomedical field, preferably in immunology.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or clinical research organization.
- Direct experience in marketing or business, either through professional roles or extracurricular activities.
- Possess a robust comprehension of genetics, immunology, and oncology.
- Demonstrated proficiency in scientific writing and presentation.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Proficiency in Chinese is desirable.
