A job vacancy for a Market Access Director, Ophthalmology has arisen at a leading global pharmaceutical company specialising in development of biological therapies. This company is one of the top 10 global pharmaceutical companies that operates in 140 countries worldwide and has market leading products in multiple therapy areas.

Job Responsibilities:

Drive Market Access strategy development & execution, paying specific attention to markets where patients are the payers.
Develop a cross-functionally and global integrated Market Access and Pricing strategy aimed at delivering the product differentiation most relevant in markets.
Implementation of innovative solutions to drive patient access (e.g. insurance schemes, patient access programs) as well as exploring replication potential.
Lead Value & Access Teams (V&AT) and ensure close alignment between insights into payer and provider evidence need.
Create plans to generate evidence for patient value proposition and pricing strategy.
Interact with payers - build global-level relationships and help shape their policies towards the targeted therapeutic areas.
Gather Region/Country Pharma Organization input and/or feedback and integrate into the Market Access strategy, accountable for reflecting payer perspective in overarching product strategy.

Skills and Requirements:

Postgraduate degree in medicine, sciences, business administration health policy, health economic, or other relevant qualification.
Deep understanding of payer/HTA environment and evolution across countries/regions.
Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
