A leading biotechnology research organization is seeking to recruit a Manufacturing Specialist III. Based in Pennsylvania, this establishment is renowned for their focus on developing next-generation gene transfer vectors and their application in the treatment of a variety of acquired and inherited diseases. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a company that is riven by the unmet needs of patients with genetic diseases.

Job Responsibilities:

Completing experiments to validate new or updated upstream manufacturing processes.
Troubleshooting experiments and processing protocols/SOP's and batch records.
Working both independently and as part of a team to accomplish project goals within specified timelines.

Skills and Requirements:

BS Degree in Biochemical/Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, or related disciplines with 2 years of relevant experience.
Expertise in cell culturing/cell banks/cell stacks.
Experience in biologics manufacturing preferred.
Knowledge of process development concepts for biological manufacturing; basic principles of various engineering disciplines helpful.
Successful candidates will have a familiarity with upstream and downstream biologics manufacturing.

Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
