Manufacturing Associate

Proclinical is seeking a Manufacturing Associate located in King of Prussia, PA with an innovative therapy company.

Job Responsibility:

• Executing either upstream or downstream operations for the production and purification of viral-based vectors for clinical use.
• Developing a robust understanding of the process science behind our platform manufacturing technologies
• Developing an understanding of good manufacturing practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements to the extent needed to execute processes.
• Lab work with some of the techniques utilized for either upstream (e.g. mammalian cell culture in controlled bioreactor systems) or downstream (e.g. liquid chromatography methods) manufacturing processes. Successful candidates will have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to work independently as well as within a dynamic cross-functional team.

Skills and Requirements:

• BS degree in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related disciplines with 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Must have experience with one or more relevant skills associated with either upstream or downstream manufacturing of biologics
• Experience working in a GxP environment preferred
• Must be meticulous, detail oriented, and analytical
