Senior / Principal Scientist - Permanent - Boston MA

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Senior/Principal Scientist specializing in Bioconjugation of antibodies and oligonucleotides.

Primary Responsibilities:

This role will lead the development of antibody-oligonucleotide bioconjugate (AOC) platforms. This position involves collaboration with various teams to advance oligonucleotide conjugates and contribute to an innovative pipeline.

Skills & Requirements:

Expertise in biochemistry, protein engineering, or chemical engineering.
In-depth knowledge of antibody bioconjugation techniques and linker optimization.
Experience with oligonucleotide conjugation.
Proficiency in analytical characterization techniques (e.g., SDS-PAGE, SEC, LC-MS/MS).
Experience managing contract research organizations (CROs).
Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills.

The Senior/Principal Scientist's responsibilities will be:

Develop scalable bioconjugation processes for optimizing the AOC platform.
Contribute to pipeline development activities by achieving key goals related to antibody mediated oligonucleotide delivery.
Establish in-house capabilities for producing and characterizing oligonucleotide bioconjugates.
Build cross-functional relationships to ensure smooth transition of AOC methods from research to development.
Stay informed on technological advancements in the oligonucleotide/ADC field.
Manage timelines and resources for platform activities effectively.
