Manager Clinical Outsourcing - Contract - Cambridge MA

Primary Responsibilities:
This position will be required to support the execution and management of clinical trials, primarily in oncology and hematology. You will work closely with a dynamic Clinical Development team to manage vendor relationships and ensure the successful lifecycle management of clinical trials.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business discipline.
- Experience in vendor and contract management within clinical trials.
- Understanding of the drug development process.
- Experience with vendor selection, proposal review, and budget negotiations.
- Familiarity with contracts, legal agreements, and financial budgeting.
- Proficiency in RFP procurement software is a plus.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
The Manager, Clinical Outsourcing's responsibilities will be:
- Assist in identifying potential vendors and CROs for clinical trial execution.
- Collaborate in creating and issuing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), compile responses, and facilitate team review of proposals.
- Perform competitive bid analysis and provide recommendations to operational team leads.
- Participate in pricing negotiations for various study vendors.
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional vendor selection meetings.
- Manage contracting activities, including reviewing MSAs, developing Work Orders, and handling Change Orders.
- Support the development of outsourcing processes and tools.
- Assist with benchmarking analysis.
- Collaborate with key functions such as Clinical Operations, Finance, Legal, and others to ensure stakeholder engagement.
- Seek efficiencies in vendor contracting to improve service value.
- Maintain a central database for contract tracking and metrics delivery.
