Information Security Officer

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Information Security Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the establishment, operation, and further development of the company's information security management system (ISMS). This role requires a focus on continuous risk management, advising and supporting departments in implementing new processes and procedures, and planning and implementing regular employee awareness-raising measures.

Responsibilities:

• Establish, operate, and further develop the company's information security management system (ISMS).
• Regularly plan and implement measures to identify and address technical and organizational weaknesses in information security.
• Implement continuous risk management in collaboration with business and IT management.
• Advise and support departments in implementing new processes and procedures with a focus on information security.
• Plan and implement regular employee awareness-raising measures.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Degree in business informatics, computer science or a related field with a focus on information security.
• Additional qualification in the field of information security or willingness to acquire it.
• Experience in setting up and operating an ISMS based on ISO 27001/27002.
• Good knowledge of IT infrastructure, software, and IT architectures.
• Sound knowledge of risk and process management.
• Knowledge of data protection is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in written and spoken German.
