In Vivo Research Associate -Contract - Lexington, MA
Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and collaborative In-Vivo Research Associate.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will work closely with other research scientists to plan and execute lab-based studies, supporting various project efforts. This role involves working with human and rodent tissues, developing and optimizing staining and analysis protocols as well as contributing to project management efforts.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree with relevant experience or a Master's Degree.
- Experience in rodent handling, dosing and necropsy.
- Proficiency in tissue sample processing (protein and mRNA) for downstream bioassays.
- Ability to generate and analyze molecular assay data using various methodologies.
- Familiarity with automated laboratory equipment and high throughput data production principles.
- Experience with In Vivo Imaging system (IVIS) for reporter expression analysis is a plus.
- Experience with Immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, automated stainer, etc. are a plus.
- Strong analytical skills for integrating and interpreting interdisciplinary data.
- Experience working in a team environment, with industry (CRO, pharmaceutical, biotech) experience preferred.
The In Vivo Research Associate's responsibilities will be:
- Collaborate with research scientists to plan and perform lab-based studies.
- Work with human and rodent tissues to develop and optimize staining and analysis protocols.
- Support project management efforts in creating standard operating procedures.
- Foster cross-functional teamwork and knowledge sharing.
- Perform tissue processing for protein, mRNA, and DNA.
