Proclinical is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Grant Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing applications, contracts, and agreements for award terms and conditions, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires a high level of proficiency in Excel and a strong focus on meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Review applications, Notice of Award, Contracts and Agreements for award terms and conditions and apply any restrictions or budgetary controls.
- Process payroll within ADP, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees, while adhering to relevant tax and labor laws.
- Gather all internal documentation to ensure compliance prior to account setup.
- Ensure personnel are appropriately allocated to the project, in conjunction with the PI, and according to the terms of the award.
- Monitor payroll transactions to ensure the salary costs and cost share.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other applicable field.
- Knowledge of NIH grants, cooperative agreements, and contracts requirements and regulations along with federal requirements such as Uniform Guidance.
- High level of proficiency in Excel.
- Detail-oriented, efficient, organized, and deadline-focused.
