Facilities Maintenance Technician II - Contract - Philadelphia, PA

Proclinical is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician II to join for a contract role in Philadelphia, PA.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will play a key part in maintaining and repairing company equipment and facilities to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment. This position involves hands-on work with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance, as well as collaboration with contractors and vendors.


Skills & Requirements:

  • Experience in HVAC troubleshooting, repair, and filter changes.
  • Proficiency in electrical installations, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Plumbing expertise.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
  • Technical certification in Electrical, Plumbing, or HVAC-R is preferred.

The Facilities Maintenance Technician II's responsibilities will be:

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on company equipment and facilities to minimize downtime and enhance efficiency.
  • Monitor contractor performance and collaborate with vendors to ensure work meets specifications.
  • Document all maintenance activities in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company standards.
  • Conduct plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general repair tasks, including changing light bulbs and ballasts.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and repair facility and utility equipment such as boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, and water systems.
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics for troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Perform minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work, such as preparing surfaces, hanging doors, and fitting locks.
  • Assist with departmental and employee moves, including dismantling and installing furniture.
  • Transport goods or equipment as needed.
  • Support building and laboratory infrastructure.
  • Work off-hours and overtime when necessary.
  • Contribute to departmental goals and overall operations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, international standards, and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
