Proclinical have a new vacancy at a pharmaceutical company working in research and development of highly effective and innovative medications. This job vacancy is for an Export plannner to join their team at their Singapore offices. The company is one of the industry's most well-known brands and specialises in R&D in 3 major areas; respiratory, oncology and inflammation. The Export Planner will be responsible for ensuring that the demand received from the customers is met whilst achieving high fill rates and minimal write offs by getting the "right demand" from the customers and by ensuring an efficient execution of the "order to cash" process. Involves working with the customers to generate the 24 months rolling forecast with targeted accuracy and then ensuring that all orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency along while minimizing risks
Job Responsibilities:
- Support country-level forecasting process, and balance demand forecast, sales plan and customer orders
- Prepare and participate in Country-level S&OP process
- Review each incoming purchase order against agreed MOQs, Price and delivery timelines
- Initiate the "Order to cash" cycle by issuing a corresponding PO to the Supplier
- Monitor progress of an order throughout the cycle and take a pro-active role in identifying & resolving issues in achieving high fulfilment rates
- Coordinate between the Customer and the Supplier to ensure the availability of Shipping documents for import/export license application and final shipment
- Communicate ETAs, potential delays and other issues impacting delivery timelines to the customers
- Close POs and book costs in the system on delivery completion
- Review and assess feasibility of Order change requests and execute the same by coordinating with all impacted parties
- Manage, analyse and reconcile purchase orders internally and externally.
- Generate customer invoices for facilitating shipments and payments
Skills and Requirements:
- BS degree or equivalent degree in Business Management, Project Management, Supply Chain, Engineering or other related field of study. MBA, MSc or other technical graduate degree preferred
- PMI or equivalent certification preferred
- APICS or equivalent certification preferred
- 4+ years of Supply chain experience with focus on Demand/Supply planning and End-End order management
- Experience of working in a dynamic global organization
- SAP "Order to Cash" execution experience
- Exposure to demand planning processes and tools
- Knowledge of and dedication to (Asia-Pac) pharmaceutical or medical device usage, laws and regulations and manufacturing processes
- Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally, both written and orally, to a wide variety of audiences
- Skilled in influencing and partnering with others, both inside and outside Supply Chain.
- Self-driven, resourceful and results-oriented
- Demonstrated initiative through problem-solving and system thinking
- Passionate about continuous improvement
- Prior experience with pharmaceutical products in a clinical setting
