Key responsibilities

• This role is responsible for the engineering and qualification (cGMP) of small to medium technical projects (< 150 Mio CHF) in all phases (evaluation, basic and detailed planning, piloting, realization of investment projects and optimization of running plants) for Visp.
• The role works closely with process engineering, operations and operations engineering, QA and external suppliers

• Project engineering: Planning and implementation of small to medium-sized technical projects (< CHF 150 million) in all phases (evaluation, basic and detailed planning, piloting, implementation of investment projects and optimization of current systems) for Visp
• Project management: responsible for costs, deadlines and function for the assigned projects and tasks Project monitoring and reporting in accordance with the "Capital Project Planning and Execution" process (Group-25). Engineering, qualification (cGMP) for the EMR part of projects
• Ensures high availability of these installations and is responsible for ensuring that they comply with the relevant safety regulations and laws
• Works closely with other departments (Process Engineering, Operations, Operations Engineering)
• Provides on-call service
• Project work on new technologies and applications (e.g. aseptic single-use applications in biotechnology)
• Management of subordinate EMR engineers and EMR planners in projects.
• Preparation and responsibility of project budgets
• Collaboration and or management of assigned technical responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Electrical, Automation, Systems or Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• Professional experience in EMR engineering
