Director Program Mgmt - Permanent - Palo Alto (Hybrid)

Proclinical is seeking a Director of Program Mgmt to lead high-impact drug development programs within a dynamic and innovative biotechnology environment. The position is based in the state of California with a hybrid work model (2 days in-office, 3 days remote).
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will focus on aligning cross-functional teams, shaping program strategies, and ensuring the successful execution of critical objectives.
Skills & Requirements:
- Educational background in Biological Sciences, Bioengineering, Chemistry, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience leading drug development programs through Phase 1 and Phase 2 clinical trials.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence strategy and drive decision-making.
- Comprehensive understanding of global regulatory requirements, including US and EMA guidelines.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Smartsheet or Monday.com.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills to inspire and align diverse teams.
- Business acumen to align program objectives with long-term goals and financial considerations.
- Ability to deliver impactful presentations and manage high-level stakeholder communications.
The Director Program Mgmt responsibilities will be:
- Lead program teams in developing and executing integrated timelines, ensuring milestones are met on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Provide strategic guidance to align program goals with corporate priorities and long-term business objectives.
- Evaluate alternative development scenarios, balancing costs, timelines, risks, and strategic goals.
- Direct and inspire cross-functional teams across CMC, clinical, nonclinical, regulatory, and commercial functions.
- Build strong partnerships internally and externally to foster effective communication and collaboration.
- Deliver executive updates, insights, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
- Identify and manage program risks, implementing robust contingency plans and mitigation strategies.
- Resolve complex challenges efficiently by partnering with subject matter experts.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
- Ensure adherence to program management best practices across the organization.
Compensation:
- $200 000.00 - $250 000.00 Per Annum
