Job Title: Director, Country Head Quality Assurance - UK & Ireland

Proclinical have proudly partnered exclusively with one of the first companies in the world to launch an mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccine to help support the build out of their International Quality Function as they continue to grow quickly and expand their Immunology and Oncology pipeline. The Role:
As they continue their international growth, they are seeking to appoint a Director, Country Head of Quality Assurance to lead their in-country QA activities in the UK and Ireland. This person will be responsible for setting up the UK & Ireland affiliate from scratch as well as monitoring and overseeing it's development. You will design and implement the QMS and operations to ensure compliance with both company standards and relevant regulations for the manufacturing and distribution of their existing and new products in this territory.
Your Profile:
You will have at least a Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline as well as extensive experience within Quality Assurance within the Biotech or Pharmaceutical sector. You will have previous experience of setting up an affiliate from scratch in the UK and/or Ireland including the design and implementation of the QMS having ideally done this within another Biotech or Pharma company. You will have expert knowledge of GDP and GMP regulations pertaining to the UK and Europe and will be seeking a Director-level position. Previous experience within a Vaccines/Immunology Biotech would be highly preferred.
