Proclinical are recruiting for a Crop Microbiologist to join a biotech organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Dublin.

Responsibilities:

Guide cross-functional initiatives to prepare for the launch of biological products in collaboration with various teams.
You will pioneer projects focused on novelty of the implementation of biological seed treatments, reducing viability decline and growing the general customer experience.
Form and supervise operations at a new microbiology lab, guaranteeing compliance with quality and HSE standards.
Perform understandable training sessions, efficiently discussing technical ideas to internal associates and visitors in an engaging manner.
Assist the marketing team by introducing fresh concepts and strategies to highlight the strengths of the products.
Other duties may be assigned to this role.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Educated to an advanced degree level in a biology-linked discipline, ideally with a specialisation in microbiology.
Knowledge in safely managing microbiological samples and examining their feasibility.
Comprehension of fermentation processing and formulation practices.
Demonstrable experience in a lab microbiologist role or in a position which includes independently managing microorganisms, which might have been acquired throughout university years.
Demonstrable experience working independently on technical projects in cross-functional, global teams.
Expertise or higher in agronomy, agriculture, and seed treatment, with a keenness to further develop skills.
Industrial acquaintance, specifically in microbiological processing and examination in sectors such as food, pharmaceuticals, or linked organisations would be beneficial.
Fluency in the English language.
