Proclinical is seeking an analytical Consultant to join a dedicated group. This role is pivotal for the operations of the industry, focusing on Health Economics and Market Access specifically. The successful candidate will be involved in developing economic appraisals for Health Technology, early product value assessments and peer-reviewed publications.


Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualising and implementing health economic models as well as undertaking quality control of models.
  • Adapting core models to specific markets.
  • Recognising and synthesising a vast variety of evidence to support model development.
  • Contributing to high-quality project deliverables including reports, models, and presentations
  • Running projects and leading teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality results.
  • Mentoring less experienced team members
  • Interpreting data within the context of the project
  • Assisting in business development activities; including identifying opportunities for follow-on work and new leads, supporting the development of intellectual property for future engagements, and developing strong relationships with clients, payers, healthcare professionals, and key opinion leaders

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • A PhD or MSc in health economics or a related quantitative life sciences subject (e.g., medical statistics, health technology assessment)
  • Experience in health economic modelling
  • Proficiency in designing and building health economics models
  • Experience preparing data for economic models using STATA, R, or SAS
  • Experience developing submissions to national HTA bodies (e.g., NICE) is desirable
  • Strong project management skills, with proven ability to work to strict project deadlines
  • An entrepreneurial approach - demonstrating a desire to take on new challenges with a resourceful attitude
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English as well as strong interpersonal skills including effective listening and negotiation. Additional language ability is desirable.
  • Commitment to developing yourself and others skills.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
