Clinical Supply Chain, Supply Planner - Contract - Cambridge, MA

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Supply Chain Planner.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting various programs and protocols, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient logistical activities. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of GxP, and proficiency in various software programs. A sense of urgency to meet patient and program needs is crucial.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of end-to-end clinical supply chain activity.
  • Experience with supply/demand forecasting systems (e.g., NSIDE, Bioclinica, 4G, Oracle).
  • Experience with Interactive Response Technology (IRT) systems and Smartsheets.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage complex challenges.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Degree in Sciences; Pharmacists are encouraged to apply.

The Clinical Supply Chain, Supply Planner's responsibilities will be:

  • Collaborate with Clinical Operation/Study team to create forecasts for assigned studies and programs.
  • Manage country logistics for shipping and importation on assigned studies or programs.
  • Monitor drug expiry and inventory levels across assigned clinical programs.
  • Oversee packaging requirements for assigned programs and/or protocols.
  • Support label creation and approval processes, including translations for all countries.
  • Manage the return and destruction of Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs) from sites to depots for assigned studies.
  • Perform inventory checks and manage inventory levels and cycle count at the vendor yearly on assigned studies.
  • Manage temperature excursions during transportation on assigned studies.
