Clinical Resources Manager - Permanent - Pennsylvania

Proclinical is seeking a Clinical Resources Manager to be based in Pennsylvania for a permanent position. This role is for a growing company within the US and is a hybrid role.

Primary Responsibilities:

This role is pivotal in allocating resources to client projects based on their skills, previous experience, availability, or project budget. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of clinical trials, including requirements, timelines, and recruitment goals. This role will also involve collaboration with key business stakeholders to track pipeline and new wins, focusing on resource planning and anticipating future needs.

Skills & Requirements:

  • College degree, preferably in a business, scientific or technical discipline
  • Proven hands-on experience in resource management.
  • Understanding of working in a clinical research organisation.
  • Project management software skills are an advantage.
  • Aptitude for data analytics.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to develop working relationships easily.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment, under time and resource constraints.
  • Able to work office based 2-3 times per week in Belgium or the US

The Resources Manager's responsibilities will be:

  • Allocate resources to client projects based on their skills, previous experience, availability, or project budget.
  • Prioritise resources to ensure quality and client satisfaction.
  • Support Project Managers in ongoing resource management efforts.
  • Understand the nuances of clinical trials and apply that to resourcing model.
  • Collaborate with key business stakeholders to track pipeline and new wins.
  • Identify potential resourcing risks/issues and ensure mitigation is in place.
  • Monitor headcount levels and recruitment needs.
  • Support recruitment process of required resources.
  • Work on process improvement for staffing of data analysts.
  • Create a resourcing process for central monitors, project managers and other staff.
  • Assist with resourcing requirements during the proposal stage for the Business Development team.
  • Drive continuous improvements to the overall resourcing process.

Compensation:

  • $130,000 annually
