A leading pharmaceutical company is advertising a vacancy as a Clinical Relations Specialist to their UK team on a home-based capacity. The organisation provides combined and individual solutions that meet client strategic needs for clinical trial accelerations. Job Responsibilities:

  • Build strong Network of medical partners (referring doctors, pharmacist etc.) that will increase awareness and PR.
  • Influence and motivate targeted physicans groups to help with study recruitment through effective relationship development and working through the Physician Outreach (PO) Process Steps.
  • Increase delivery by contributing to overall referral, screening and randomization targets and working towards quarterly patient recruitment goals.
  • Build strong Network of non-medical partners (e.g. patient advocacy groups, pharmacies, sports groups, schools, retirement homes) to strengthen awareness and PR of the company and clinical trials.
  • Cultivate and maintain respectable relationships within the community that will enhance our community's outlook about the company and clinical trials as well as to promote the brand.
  • Identify and present opportunities that can result in expansion of the company GP network resulting in profitable growth (i.e. indoor sports complex promotional agreements, lunch & learns annual memberships, event sponsorships, web site link sharing, etc.).
  • Locate, schedule and attend various, community-wide events that will allow for face to face study promotion in order to obtain new opt-in database leads.
  • Maintain knowledge of all currently enrolling studies, timelines for those studies, protocol requirements, lab values, etc. in order to speak fluently about the study and target appropriate patient populations.
  • Increase the size of the database annually while striving to reach targeted screens and randomization. Actively contributes to initiatives, strategies and activities allowing maximum patient recruitment to the site and country delivery.
  • Develop patient profiles according to study protocol specifics and share with Site as appropriate.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar or relevant capacity.
  • Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
  • Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
