Clinical Lab Manager - Permanent - Lake Mary, FL

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated laboratory leader to oversee daily operations in our laboratory. You will ensure timely processing of tests, maintain equipment functionality, and lead a team of testing personnel. This role requires on-site presence during the swing shift from Tuesday to Saturday, with flexibility for overnight shifts.

Skills & Requirements:

Active ASCP Certification and FL Clinical Laboratory Technologist license; Supervisor licensure preferred.
Experience in a high-complexity CLIA environment.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant science field.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and lead high-performance teams.

Clinical Lab Manager will:

Oversee all lab services, including training, quality management, safety, and compliance.
Perform duties as a General Supervisor and potentially as a Technical Supervisor.
Implement new programs and procedures, ensuring regulatory compliance.
Resolve issues by collaborating with pathologists and other lab professionals.
Draft and update standard operating procedures.
Manage equipment maintenance and inventory processes.
Recruit, train, and manage laboratory staff, ensuring ongoing education and performance appraisals.
Conduct regular team meetings and establish effective communication channels.
Ensure proficiency testing and address any non-conformances promptly.
Monitor workload and adjust operations or staffing as needed.
